Transfer of Administration and Dispute Resolution
Policy
Bunchy.cc allows registered users to upload details of group rides with
associated routes and timing details.
From time to time, it may be desirable or necessary to transfer administrative
rights for a group ride between users voluntarily or involuntarily. Examples of involuntary
circumstances giving rise to such a need reasonably include where a user has created a group when not the regular 'leader', incapacitation, loss of contact and
abandonment.
Voluntary administration transfer:
- A user may generate and provide to another user who has registered an user account on
Bunchy.cc a group transfer token. When the receiving user enters this group transfer token
they will gain administrative rights to the group listing and the providing user will
lose these rights. By providing a transfer token, the providing user agrees to transfer all
rights over any content associated with the group ride on Bunchy.cc to Bunchy.cc in
perpetuity.
Involuntary administrative transfer:
Bunchy.cc encourages group ride members to resolve disputes amicably and to
engage in voluntary transfer wherever practicable.
When voluntary transfer cannot be achieved, the following policy will apply.
- A user who wishes to gain administrative rights to a group must:
- Create a user account on bunchy.cc
- Select the 'Request Admin Transfer' button for the group that they wish to gain access to.
- Bunchy.cc will complete the following actions:
- Seek to contact the current administrator via email to encourage the user to participate in the voluntary transfer process or provide the option of group archival.
- Allow the current administrator a 5 day response period.
- If the user agrees to transfer ownership, provide the requesting user with a transfer key
- If the user does not agree to transfer ownership, take no action.
- If the user cannot be contacted, delete the group ride and notify the requesting user.
All decisions regarding group ride administration are final and at the sole discretion of Bunchy.cc.
